With the aim to leave a positive impact on the planet we have chosen to partner with Eden - Employ to Plant. Sustainability is at the heart of Cara Mila, from the fabrics we hand select, to the way we produce and package our products. Advocates for slow fashion, our collection is crafted with luxury, natural, sustainably-sourced materials including silk, cashmere, organic denim and alpaca in silhouettes that are designed to last the test of time. With the aim to leave a positive impact on the planet, we have chosen to partner with Employ to Plant. This inspiring charity aims to reduce extreme poverty and restore healthy forests by employing local people to plant millions of trees every year. Cara Mila will donate 10usd per garment sold, that equals to 100 trees planted whilst employing local impoverished people. Let's make a difference together!!
Your support has helped us create livelihoods among underserved communities. We are currently improving our process for increased transparency and are rolling out a global study on our socioeconomic impact worldwide. Initial findings from Kenya show that since working with Eden, our employees have experienced a 78% increase in income, and 81% of employees have opened bank accounts for the first time.*
